Wind sensor cups are mounted 15 feet above the peak of the house.
North, South and West areas are open to the wind for a good couple of miles.
THE EAST WIND IS BLOCKED by a large oversized house that is at least as high as the wind vane, 100' away.
THERFORE, DIRECT EAST WIND SPEEDS ARE SUSPECT!!
